Gary Roberts Takes MOTM

Gary Roberts has been named Vital Crewe Man Of The Match for the opening game of the season against Brighton & Hove Albion.

The battling midfield scored both goals in the 2-1 win on Saturday. After equalising from the spot in the first half, his diving header from a superb Billy Jones crossed won the Alex all 3 points.

Roberts got over 30% of the Vital Crewe vote on our recent poll.

Check back after the Hull City game to add your opinion on who was man of the match. You can also discuss the game on the fastest growing Crewe Alex forum.

(The Brighton poll will remain online till after the Hull match. Any further votes will not be counted. Just in case Ofcom are watching.)
