There is speculation that Byron Moore has turned down a new contract at the club in order to leave for a League One club in the summer. The club can claim compensation if or when he signs for another club but talk about throwing years of coaching back in your face.

Nick Powell, Ben Garratt and Max Clayton have all received call-ups to the England U-17 squad for the final qualifying stage for the U-17 Euro Championships. The news comes as no surprise as Garratt, Powell and Clayton have wracked up a fair few caps between them and remain the only youngsters from the basement division to receive call-ups. Dario scoffed at a story suggesting Man City`s Reece Wabara had joined the club on a loan deal, saying that he has not heard back from Man City since the deal was originally pulled a couple of weeks ago. He added that he may decide against bringing in a defender if there was a decent defensive performance against Chesterfield. Uh-oh.
