Twenty Questions: Laura

Twenty Questions: Laura
Name? Laura

Age?19

Location? Crewe

Why support Crewe? They are my home town team.

First Crewe game attended?I can't remember. I was 5 at the time though.

Season ticket holder?Yes, in the G.R.E.

Best player you've seen pull on the red & white?Dean Ashton

Worst player you've seen pull on the red & white?Andy White

Best memory of supporting the Alex?Probably being promoted to the Championship.

Worst memory of supporting the Alex?Either getting relegated from the Championship, or being so close to the overall final of the JPT and then losing at Doncaster. It was heartbreaking.

How was the 07/08 season for you? It had its ups and downs. More downs than ups though. It was an emotional rollercoaster, but thats all part of supporting a football team isnt it.

Where do you see us going next season (08/09)?Honestly? We make some good new signings, then we could finish Top 10, hopefully in the play offs. Without any decent signings, Mid-Table.

Where do you realistically see the club in three years time? Back in the Championship, with Stoke. Oh well, you have to have some hope dont you!

One player you'd sign [realistically] if you were manager? Dean Cox from Brighton. He seems to be a good little player. A bit of pace up front is always good.

Steve Holland: Stay or go?Stay - I think Dario knew when it was time to 'hand over' to Holland, and he got a rough deal with the team he was handed down. I think, give him this summer to make his own changes and some signings, and we will be OK

Season ticket prices: Fair or unfair? Fair. There are teams in the League charging much more than we are, and even if we lose, you do normally get an entertaining game at Gresty Road dont you!

Pop Side, Gresty Road End or neither? Gresty Road End.

Standing or sitting? Standing

Opposition you dislike the most?Probably Doncaster. Although it is a nice ground.

Next season's League One Champions will be...Carlisle. Just a hunch. I don't know why but I do fancy them to do it.

I like them and hope they beat dirty leeds today amd secure promotion. A few Crewe fans are bitter over the micky mouse cup exit. Diving from messers Guy and Price.

It didn't help that their "tactics" were not confined to the one game.

Crewe move up with victory

Crewe Alexandra are now unbeaten in four games after a welcome 2-0 win over Rochdale.

Striker Marcus Haber put them in front on the half-hour when a corner wasn't properly cleared and Brad Inman doubled their lead just prior to half-time.

Ian Henderson earlier headed wide for the visitors but Haber made no mistake when turning in at the other end after George Cooper's corner was missed.

However, it needed goalkeeper Ben Garratt to respond as Peter Vincenti sought an equalise
