Local lad Max Clayton is a product of the Alex Academy having been with the club since he was seven years old.

When he was just 14 his extraordinary was already seeing him be linked with some of the biggest clubs in the country, including Liverpool.

Signing a long term deal with the club prior to his 16th birthday in summer 2010, Dario saw it as a major achievement to keep Clayton, along with his age group team mates, at the club.

He was fast-tracked to train with the first team at the beginning of the 2010-11 season, although has not yet made his first team bow.

He's a regular in the England youth sides having represented England U-16s and England U-17s.
