Young Colin Daniel signed from Eastwood Town for Crewe in May 2007, just a week after the season had ended.
"Junior" has played most of his youth days for Eastwood Town and in 2006/2007 started to catch the eye of league teams. He spent a while having trials at various clubs, including Sheffield Wednesday, but it was Crewe who took the plunge.
A left back by nature, Junior also can play on the wing - much like David Vaughan.
Colin will be hoping he can follow in the foot steps of recent non-league talent at Gresty Road like Steve Jones, Justin Cochrane and Luke Varney.
