Mitchel-King arrived with former Histon team mate Patrick Ada on a free transfer in summer 2009.

Part of Gudjon Thordarson's new look defence Mitchel-King went straight into the starting 11 with Ada at the centre of defence.

He went on to be a major part of the side even after Thordarson's departure and has so far made 24 appearances in red. After a month out with a back injury in February King made a swift return to the side in March 2010.
