Crewe are on the road again as they travel to the Wirral to take on Tranmere Rovers.
The team are quickly back in action following Saturday's defeat at Olhdam and will be hoping to pick up our first away win of the season.
Tranmere have started the season well and currently are in 2nd position and will provide a stern test for Crewe.
Fomer Crewe player Gareth Taylor was on target in a 2-2 draw with Northampton on Saturday at Prenton Park, he was also on target in the game between the two sides last season.
Danny Coyne is ruled out through injury whilst Calvin Zola faces a late fitness test, Steve Davies is also rated 50:50.
A young lad who is learning his trade with the Wirral based club. Has started his carrer in brilliant fashion.
The youngster has hit 6 goals in 11 appearances for Tranmere, he is likely to start on the bench but is one to watch out for if he comes on.
Chris McCready (tight hamstring) and Danny Woodards (dead leg) are doubtful after the defeat at Oldham. Juilien Baudet could be in contention for a return to the match-day squad. Stuart Tomlinson and Nicky Maynard are both still missing throuigh injury.
Likely Team: Williams, Jones, Woodards, Baudet, McCready, Moore, Schumacher, Rix, Roberts, Barnard, Lowe.

Scott Mathieson takes charge tomorrow night when the Alex travel to Cheshire rivals Tranmere Rovers.
Mathieson, from Stockport, began refereeing in the Cheshire area prior to his promotion to the Football League Assistants list in 1990. It took four years before he was promoted to the national list of referees.
In his 13 years as a league referee, Mathieson has refereed up to Championship standard and was fourth official at the 2000/2001 League Cup final.
The last Crewe game he took charge of was over five years ago. The painful last day of the 01/02 season at home to Rotherham, where we needed to over come a 10 goal goal difference deficit to avoid relegation. That day he booked just the one Crewe player, Efe Sodje.
The last Tranmere game he refereed was in 2005, a 0-0 draw at home to Colchester.
So far this season Mathieson has dished out 8 yellow cards in 6 matches, without showing red.
Tomorrow he will be assisted by R C Green and R L Metcalfe and the fourth official will be M A Astley.
