Their fans seem quite disillusioned at the moment. They've slipped from the play-offs to level on points with us, despite once having three or four games in hand over us, and are now managerless. They have signed John Cofie from Man Utd though so there's a debutant ready to score against us but at least they've got rid of that odious t**t.

I'm never really keen on these games where even the opposition are expecting us to win but I think Davis uses these big results to get the best out of the team. Really hope this is the start of a good end to the season.

Can't remember ever seeing us win at Notts but...

Notts County 1-3 Crewe
Ajay, Inman, Aneke.

Judging by the Notts C fans we only need to turn up to win, i'm not buying that though!

1-0 defeat

They knew how to play us at Gresty rd & did a job on us..

But we've improved & they are on a bad run, but i think i'd be happy with a draw.

I've seen us win there, by the fair hand of young Mark Rivers. It would be around 1996 I guess. It was literally his hand he scored with...

I remember seeing another victory there too, probably a season or two earlier. A brilliant goal scroed by (I think) Steve Macauley, a header from 6 yards. What made it brilliant was the 29 passes in the move that lead up to the finish!!!!

based on the Mark Robins school of summary we should have won that quite easily

Far more attempts at goal, far more on target.

Although we did get a pen the ref was awful and let them get away with game stopping fouls - poor show

enjoyable day though Notts is a fine city for having a scoop or three

We didn't put them to the sword enough when we were so dominant in the first half, disappointing we let the game slip in the second half, although they clearly had had a bollocking from their manager at HT. Dugdale had a nightmare for their goal and surely, surely puts to bed the daft H.Davis argument.

Murph looked awesome despite their insistance of trying to snap his ankle, Toots, Inman and Ajay showed moments of quality. Thought Mellor was our weakest performer, dragged all over the place defensive wise and then never looked to go forward with the ball.

All in all a good performance and we did have the chances to win it.
