Bridges Move Fails

Bridges Move Fails

A move for Hull City striker Michael Bridges has failed after the former Leeds man opted to stay in the Championship. Bridges was one of four or five loan targets for Steve Holland this week but the 29 year old rejected the move.

Despite being out in the cold at Hull, and spending most of the season on loan at Sydney in Australia, Bridges is still of hoping of a breakthrough in the Championship after scoring five goals in his previous two reserve games.

It was probably a hopeful punt but a worthwhile one after Bridges spent a summer getting fit at Reaseheath a couple of years ago.

Holland is still hopeful of bringing in at least one loanee by the end of the day though with former Alex players Steve Jones and Kenny Lunt topping the list.
