Alan O'Brien Rejects Crewe
Hibernian winger Alan O'Brien has rejected a move to Crewe Alexandra.
The club had a offer accepted for the former Newcastle winger earlier today and Steve Holland agreed terms with player. However, despite being led to believe O'Brien was travelling down for to sign on the dotted line, a last minute change of mind from O'Brien called the deal off.
Meanwhile, Dario Gradi and chief scout Glyn Chamberlain are taking a last look at Stockport County's Anthony Elding tonight, who starts against Chesterfield.
The bustling striker has been a long term target for the Alex and a last minute bid before the transfer window closes could be in the works. However, the Alex face competition from Hartlepool who have made no secret of their interest as they try and force Stockport's valuation down.
