Crewe Turn Attention To Vokes

Crewe are looking to Bournemouth's Sam Vokes as a potential signing following the Stuart Fleetwood fiasco.

It's thought that Steve Holland is keen on the 18 year old target man and could take advantage of Bournemouth's shakey financial situation by tabling a bid before the end of the month.

Vokes, who came through the Cherries youth system, made his debut at 17 for Bournemouth in December 2006. He's gone on to start 20 games for Bournemouth, scoring 8 goals in the process. Recently he's been finding the net more often with 5 goals in his last 10 games.
