Club Hopeful On New Left Back

Steve Holland hopes to complete the signing of a left back on loan before tomorrow's trip to Swansea City. Holland has been on the search for a left back since Billy Jones was ruled out for 8 weeks earlier this month, and no left back cover has left Danny Woodards, a right back, filling in.

Holland hopes that the completion of the signing is just a formality after everything was agreed earlier. He told the official site:

'If there hasn't been a change there and I see no reason for anything to have happened then we are hoping to have another body on board for the trip to Swansea. If we can get it done then he will certainly be in the squad, which travels tomorrow.'

Crewe have already missed out on Aston Villa left back Stephen O'Halloran, who went to Southampton on loan, this month.
