Bury Deny Crewe Contact

Bury have denied that Crewe have made a bid for their striker Andy Bishop. The League Two club were responding to speculation that an offer had been made for the 25 year old after the Alex confirmed a bid had been made for an un-named striker this morning.

Bury say they have had no contact with either Dario Gradi or Steve Holland, but whether they are trying to keep any bid under wraps till after their vital FA Cup 3rd Round replay against Norwich tonight may be another matter.

Meanwhile, defender Julien Baudet could feature in Saturday's game at Carlisle despite limping off with what was thought to be a serious hamstring injury during last night's home game against Leeds. The Frenchman believes he's suffering from a bit of tightness in his left hamstring and hopes to be ok for selection this week.
