Schuey Returns

Midfielder Steven Schumacher has returned to training after over two months on the sidelines. The former Bradford and Everton man had figured prominently in the Alex midfield till a thigh injury forced him out at the end of October.

His return from that injury was dealt a blow when he fell on his ankle in training and damaged ligaments.

However, Schuey now looks set to return to action soon, although Monday's home game against Leeds will be too soon for his return.

Steve Holland told the official site: 'Steven Schumacher has successfully returned to training and we are glad to have him back in the pool of players. It is good news for us but the Leeds game next week could be a little early for him.'
