Crewe To Return To Target?

Crewe look set to renew interest in a long term target this transfer window. It is thought that the club could go back in for Plymouth Argyle's Nick Chadwick once again now the transfer window has re-opened.

Chadwick has been a long time target for the Alex, with interest starting years ago when the 24 year old was in Everton's reserves. The Stoke born striker is now sitting it out in Plymouth Argyle's reserves and doesn't look likely to extend his stay once his contract is up at the end of the month.

Earlier in the season Chadwick was close to arriving at Gresty Road on loan but an injury scuppered that deal.

However, it is thought Argyle could be keen to cash in whilst they have the chance and their earlier price tag of £250,000 may have dropped a fair bit.
