Loan Deals End

It's a sigh of relief as the club confirm Cedric Baseya's loan won't be extended. The Southampton striker had a pretty rotten month at Gresty Road, failing to make an impact in his few games he was clearly not yet up to the standard of League One.

Baseya has now been sent back to Southampton with a groin injury, and Steve Holland has confirmed that Baseya is unlikely to be fit to return to Gresty Road before the new year.

Also on his way home is David Gray, the Man Utd right back. Gray made just one appearance for the Alex when he started at Forest last month. Gray is also out injured till the new year.
