Fixture Gap To Be Filled?

Crewe Alexandra could be about to fill a gap in January's fixture list. With the Alex out of the FA Cup, they are without a game on January 5th 2008 when the third round is played.

The lack of a fixture would mean a two week break for Crewe but Leyton Orient could be set to offer them a chance to fill the date. Orient are thinking of moving the Alex's February trip down to Orient forward to the January date after they too failed to get to the third round.

With the original Orient tie set to be on a Tuesday, moving the game to the Saturday could be beneficial for both clubs and sets of fans and would cut out a 3 game week later in the season.
