Dario Gradi says the club have no-one in mind to sign when the January transfer window opens. Despite the team needing significant strengthening if they are to challenge for promotion, Dario was his usual relaxed self over the situation.
He told crewealex.net that they've seen no-one worth signing: 'If we can strength the squad with players that could make a difference to us, then we would do it. There is money available to do that but we won't spend it just to add to our numbers. There is no point in that ' admits Dario.
'We have watched a number of players over the last few months, but as yet we haven't identified one as yet who could make a real difference to us.'
Dario did however say that they will not rule out bringing in more loan players once the window re-opens. The Alex have already loaned half a dozen players this season, but it seems more the merrier!
'We have borrowed a number of players, but we haven't ruled out borrowing some more if they become available for loan.'
