A Learning Curve For Bailey

Dario said he was fairly happy with Mat Bailey's full debut at centre back today. The former Stockport striker (now turned centre back) was brought in to replace the injured Julien Baudet & Danny O'Donnell.

Ultimately though his inexperience showed as mistakes slipped in, including one which led to the goal.

Dario felt that it was a good learning curve for Bailey though. Talking to Radio Stoke he said: 'Mat did quite well. He was at fault for the goal and gave them another chance so he isn't quite there yet. His defending was decent and he was good in the air. We were relatively pleased with him and it will be a good learning curve for him.
