Crewe miss out on gong

Despite having the 3rd best record in League One for November, Crewe have not been shortlisted for the award which will be announced on Thursday.

Our only defeat was the 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Forest Boss Colin Calderwood is one of the four manager's who have made the shortlist.

Joining Calderwood on the list is Walsall's Richard Money, Huddersfield's Andy Ritchie and Martin Ling of Leyton Orient. Forest look favourites for the gong as they have won all three of their League games in November.

It comes as a surprise that Crewe didn't make the shortlist. Forest topped the form league, Walsall were 4th and Leyton Orient ranked 6th.
