Lunt Turns Down Move

Not-quite-Alex target Kenny Lunt has rejected a loan move to League One rivals Walsall. Since Lunt was made available for loan a couple of weeks ago Walsall have been the main name linked to our Kenny.

Today though, with the loan window shutting on Thursday, Kenny rejected a move to the midlands. Likelihood is Kenny will be looking to fight for his place at Hillsborough, if not get a promotion chasing League One club.

The former Alex captain has also been linked back to Gresty Road by the papers, although the rumour was probably born out of simple fan discussion over Lunt. Dario, Holland and Baker have all denied Lunt is a potential target.
