Woodards: Best Player So Far
There was only one man in the running when we asked who has been our best player so far this season. It was former Exeter City right back Danny Woodards, who has excelled this season.
Woodards took 42% of the vote, with 10% separating the other the other 8 candidates.
It is Woodards' cool, calm defending and darting runs forward that has undoubtedly won him the vote.
It's not just at right back he has the fans vote either. His 70 minutes at centre back in the 2-0 win against Yeovil surprised all as he comfortably dealt with everything Yeovil threw at him.
The £30,000 paid in January for him now seems to be one of the bargains of the year, and few would bet against us making a nice profit should Woodards go on to play at a much higher level.
