The Academy's Turn

The first team have made it to the second round of the FA Cup, so why not go and support the U-18s in their campaign for the Youth Cup?

The U-18s play Ashton Town in the FA Youth Cup on Tuesday (13/11/07) night and it's only £2 get in on the night.

The Wigan based club have already beaten Bootle and Woodley Sports on their way to the first round, but Crewe's youngsters will be seeing this as the perfect chance to progress to the 2nd Round.

As with the senior FA Cup, the early stages are about getting to the 3rd Round where they can meet the big academies like Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Confidence will be high in the Alex camp too after a good start to the Academy campaign. Currently sitting 4th in the league table, only Man City, Everton and Man Utd sit above them.

So why not get down to the game tomorrow night and back the future of Crewe Alexandra? Kick off is at 7:45pm at Ashton Town, it's £2 for adults and £1 for concessions.

Directions to Ashton Town from ashtontown.co.uk:

Follow the M6 to Junction 23, and take the A49 towards Ashton-in-Makerfield. At the T-junction turn right at the traffic lights on to the A58 towards Bolton. After approximately three quarters of a mile, turn right into Golborne Road. After 200 yards turn right into Edge Green Street, and the ground is at the bottom of street.
