Oldham or Donny In The Cup!

Oldham or Donny In The Cup!

Crewe will play away to Oldham or Doncaster in the FA Cup 2nd Round. The draw took play at 5:15pm today and the tie will be played on December 1st or 2nd 2007.

Doncaster and Oldham are set to play their replay at the Keepmoat a fortnight on Tuesday after a 2-2 draw yesterday. It did look like Oldham were on their way to the 2nd round, taking a 2-0 lead inside the hour yesterday. However, Doncaster hit back with 2 goals in 25 minutes to earn a replay.

We've already had a trip to both Oldham and Doncaster this season, both trips we want to forget. At Oldham we let a 2-0 lead slip to lose 3-2 in the last 15 minutes, whilst Doncaster played us off the park at the Keepmoat to win 2-0.

Yesterday Crewe beat MK Dons in the 1st round of the competition 2-1 with goals from Chris McCready and Neil Cox.

Hoping it's Oldham, they're definitely beatable. Doncaster is just too depressing with the JPT and this season completely inept performance there.

It will be a good footballing game if its to be Doncaster. You could have got easier ties definitely!

Preview: Crewe vs Bolton XI

Well if this isn't a bit weird: I'm writing a preview for a Bolton match for Vital Crewe, having edited Vital Bolton for 18 months.

Anyway, I'm back and I'd like to start off by thanking Ross for his sterling work in the last few weeks while I've been away. He's run the site on his own and I think he's done a great job. Or at least I say he has...

Disappointingly, Bolton will not be bringing their first team as promised as they've opted to switch their reserve and first team fixtur
