Church Extends Stay

Loanee Simon Church has extended his loan deal to the middle of January. The Reading striker has impressed at Gresty Road since joining on loan in October, and has picked up the Vital Crewe MOTM in all three games he's played.

Church today agreed to stay at the Alex till at least January 19th, meaning the Welshman will be able to team up with main striker Nicky Maynard at the end of the month when Maynard returns from injury.

The news comes a day after Elliott Bennett agreed to stay till the end of December.
