Crewe v Reading Team News

An injury to David Vaughan has given Crewe problems on the left, though Anthony Tonkin is back from injury to replace Darren Moss at left back. Vaughan's injury has meant that Gradi has opted to change to the 4-3-3 formation which they began the season with. Lee Bell partners Gary Roberts and Kenny Lunt in midfield with Billy Jones dropping into defence to partner Steve Foster. New-signing Madjid Bougherra will not be involved as Dario Gradi wants to allow the defender to settle in before giving him his Championship debut. After coming off the bench to score last weekend at Watford, Luke Rodgers will start on the wing as Crewe look to cause a major upset by beating Reading.
