Church available for Cup Clash

Steve Coppell (pictured) has given permission for Simon Church to feature in the FA Cup 1st round tie against MK Dons on Saturday at the Alexandra Stadium.

The FA Cup game is the youngster's last game in his current spell but the club are hopefully that the Reading supremo will allow the talented forward to remain in South Cheshire for a further month.

Crewe have also spoken to Mick McCarthy at Wolves to confirm that Elliot Bennett can take part in this weekend's match. The youngster will be hopeful to get the nod after scoring his first league goal in the victory at Port Vale.
