Cox Fit To Face Vale

Cox Fit To Face Vale

Captain Cox will be fit for tomorrow night's game at Port Vale after leaving the field injured on Saturday.

The 36 year old took a blow to his right arm that bruised badly, but Coxy has declared himself fit enough to take on local rivals Vale this week.

The bad news for Steve Holland though was that of George Abbey. The former Vale man won't be facing his old club tomorrow after he went off with a hamstring injury after just 20 minutes on Saturday.

Holland will continue with the ever impressive Danny Woodards at centre back, with loanee Elliott Bennett taking Woodards' place at right back.
