O'Donnell joins growing injury list

Crewe may look to bring in a defender on loan following the news that Danny O'Donnell has been ruled out of the match against Yeovil on Saturday.

The defender hurt his back in the 2-2 draw at Cheltenham but completed the game despite the injury. He joins fellow centre half Julien Baudet on treatment table.

The club are hopeful that the George Abbey will resume training in time for the clash against Yeovil, if not Crewe may push Neil Cox back in to defence.

Meanwhile, Steve Schumacher will also sit out the Yeovil game and young Tom Pope is also struggling with a minor injury. Steve Holland will also be hoping his reserves come through the match at Doncaster today unscathed.
