Crewe Trial For Dons Starlet

AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown has has allowed his Northern Ireland Under 20 International Robin Shroot to join Crewe on a two week trial it has been revealed today.

Although not a regular for The Dons this season, Shroot gained his two international caps back in March and is seen as a skillful winger who likes to attack and take on players and who is also an excellent crosser of the ball.

Shroot rejected a similar trial at Championship side Blackpool earlier this year.

The Crewe management team will now run the rule of the youngster and judge if he could make an improvement to the current Alex squad.
