Is Church the answer to our prayers?

Welsh Under 21 Striker Simon Church is poised to join the Alex on a month's loan deal after Reading manager Steve Coppell (pictured) rubber stamped the move this evening.

The youngster who was on target for the Wales Under 21's last night impressed the watching Assistant Manager Neil Baker in the match against Malta last evening.

The Reading forward will travel to South Cheshire in the morning to complete the deal and is set to make his debut in the home match against Luton on Saturday.

More of a target man than a pacey player from what I saw last night. Didn't look amazing, missed a sitter, but at least it's a signing. I'll give him a chance.
