Holland Looks To Bolster Squad
Steve Holland is hoping to freshen up the side this week with at least one new signing. Lewis Gobern from Wolverhampton Wanderers looks set to arrive on loan this week.
Gobern was due to sign last week but the right-cum-left winger picked up a knock, scuppering the deal. However, if Gobern completes a reserves friendly for Wolves against Shrewsbury on Monday then the club will look to complete the deal.
Holland could also look to bring in another couple of players to compliment Gobern. The striking situation has been the major problem all season and a loan striker could be due to arrive, as could a goalkeeper to replace the ever failing Ben Williams, who has conceded seven goals in his last two games.
Last week the club failed in it's attempts to bring back former striker Steve Jones. Jonah left the club last year for Burnley but has recently faded out of the picture at Turf Moor.
