Fon Williams In Wales U-21s

Goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams is in the Wales Under 21's squad for their forthcoming game.

Owain, who's first choice keeper for the U-21s, will now face Malta U-21s on Wednesday 17th October in a U-21 Euro Championship qualifier.

With the game on the Wednesday, it means Fon Williams will not be out for any league games.

Former Alex winger David Vaughan has also been called up for the full Welsh side. Vaughan moved to Spanish side Real Sociedad in August for 300,000.

Under-21 Squad

Taylor (Chelsea), Fon Williams (Crewe), Gunter (Cardiff), Jacobson (Bristol Rovers), N.Taylor (Wrexham), Wiggins (Crystal Palace), M.Williams (Wrexham), R.Williams (Middlesbrough), Allen (Swansea), Bradley (Walsall), Blake (Cardiff), D.Edwards (Luton), James (Southampton), MacDonald (Swansea), Ramsey (Cardiff), Cotterill (Wigan), C.Evans (Manchester City), Vokes (Bournemouth).
