Tomlinson sidelined

2nd choice keeper Stuart Tomlinson has picked up an injury in training yesterday. He suffered damage to his hand and is likely to be sidelined for a while.

Owain Williams will now deputise for Tomlinson, plans to send the Welsh U21 keeper out on loan have now been postponed. He got rave reviews for his performance whilst on international duty for his country recently.

Meanwhile, Danny O'Donnell and Julien Baudet look certain to miss Saturday's game against Millwall, Former Port Vale player George Abbey is on standby if neither fail to make it.

The Crewe management team has also indicated that they will make changes for Saturday following the disappointing display at Doncaster, Byron Moore and Mark Carrington both could be in contention for starting slots.
