Reserves Set For Liverpool Friendly

Crewe reserves will take on Liverpool reserves in a friendly game on Tuesday. Dario and Steve Holland hope to give the likes of Stuart Tomlinson, Mark Carrington and Tom Pope a chance to stake a claim in the team.

Liverpool will also be using the game to test one or two of their more senior players, with Harry Kewell set for an outing. However, the one Liverpool man the Crewe management will be keeping an eye out for is youngster Ray Putterill.

Dario and Holland hope to get the left winger on a loan deal after number 1 target Lee Holmes, of Derby County, struggles with a long term injury - as exclusively revealed by Vital Crewe.
