'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Former Trialist In Scotland

Former Cewe trialist Patrick Suffo has been given a trial by Dundee United.

The 29 year old striker spent a few weeks at Reaseheath in the summer as Dario ran the rule over him. However, an unimpressive 45 minutes at Newcastle Town in a pre-season friendly, and a distinct lack of fitness, meant Suffo was released without being offered a deal.

Suffo was released last season by Israel's Maccabi Petah Tikva and has found it tough finding a new club, having also had a trial at Bournemouth. Suffo has previously played for Coventry City and Sheffield United in his career.
