Lee Holmes to join Crewe?

Lee Holmes of Derby County is a target for a loan move to Crewe. The talented Derby winger is believed to be interested in a short term loan with the club.

Lee made his debut for Derby aged 15 and progressed through various youth levels with England but was sent out on loan to Swindon in 2004 and Bradford in 2006.

He missed the whole of last season with an ankle injury and is now looking to play games to get match fit, he is currently sidelined with a slight hamstring complaint.

The deal to bring Holmes to the Alexandra Stadium will not be able to be completed until Saturday at the earliest as that is when the Loan Market reopens.
