David Vaughan is in line to make his first appearance for under pressure Real Sociedad in the Basque derby against promoted Eibar on Sunday evening.
Sociedad lost their first game 2-0 to Castellón last Sunday and new Manager Chris Coleman is under pressure to turn around the fortunes of the Spanish club. Vaughan who departed Crewe for £300,000 has now got international clearance and will start the away game at Estadio Municipal de Ipurua.
Manager Chris Coleman told the Offical Real Sociedad website 'David has only played 1 full 90 minute game in 5 months, he will start the game but how long he lasts we will have to see'.
Vaughan is settling in to life in Spain and cannnot wait to get some games under his belt. He has trained for the last couple of days and he hopes to do well. The Welsh midfielder will miss the next four qualifiers for Wales as he wants to concentrate on his club football with Sociedad.
Crewe Vital wishes David all the best with his new team.
