Crewe enquire about striker

The club have confirmed that they have made enquires as to the availabilty of an unnamed striker. They are now awaiting a response from the unnamed club.

Various players have been mentioned, Danny Crow of Peterbrough, Anthony Elding of Stockport County and Andy Bishop of Bury.

Meanwhile, Lee Barnard is set to join the club this week. Time is running out for the management team to complete the deals as the transfer window shuts on Friday.
