Vaughan Plays 90 Minutes For Wales

David Vaughan played the full 90 minutes for Wales as they ran out 1-0 winners in Bulgaria in a friendly. Vaughany started in an unusual position after being given a free role just behind the lone striker of Freddy Eastwood.

Although Vaughan had a quiet first half, he claimed an assist as he set up Freddy Eastwood to score on his Wales debut. A much busier second half for Vaughan saw him put in one of the better performances for the inexperienced Welsh team.

Vaughan is now expected to fly out to Spain to complete his 300,000 move to Real Sociedad.
