Dickson Signs Month Loan

Charlton Athletic striker Chris Dickson has joined on a month loan deal, with a view of an extension. The former Dulwich Hamlet striker was revealed as one of two signings prior to last night's match against Hull, and today put pen to paper on the month long loan.

Last season he scored 31 goals in 35 games for Dulwich Hamlet in the Isthmian Division One, six leagues below League One. He signed for Charlton in March for an initial £35,000.

With Charlton he scored 4 in one game against Portsmouth Reserves and made his first team debut on Tuesday night, playing the final 10 minutes in a 2-0 win over Swindon.

Described as tall with pace to burn, Alan Pardew says he 'guarantees goals'. He is expected to make his Alex debut in this weekends clash with Bristol Rovers.

He will wear shirt number 31.
