'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lee Matthews Joins Livi

Former striker Lee Matthews has signed for Livingston today.

The 28 year old striker spent last season at Gresty Road on a year contract but his injury problems prevented him from impressing.

The former Leeds hit man has been training with the Scottish club for nearly three weeks and Livingston manager Mark Proctor was impressed enough to give him a one year contract.

Proctor said: 'Lee has been training with us for two and a half weeks and will give us some strength and power up front.'

Matthews joins former Alex defender Patrick Noubissie at Livington. Noubissie signed for Hibs last week but was immediately loaned out to Livington, who play in the Scottish Division One.
