Chris Dickson Signing Today!

Chris Dickson Signing Today!

Crewe will snap up two strikers later today with Charlton Athletic's Chris Dickson joining with Tottenham Hotspur's Lee Barnard on six month loans.

Dickson was recommended by Charlton manager Alan Pardew and team mate Luke Varney (who's he?). He made the move to Charlton from Dulwich in the summer for £35,000, and has been linked with loan moves to Gillingham and Millwall this summer.

He scored 31 in 35 games for Dulwich last season and has pace to cause any defence problems.

He, along with Lee Barnard, is expected to complete a six month loan deal at the club later today.

More soon.

Slightly worried about the official site quoting Dario saying things like "We think we have a chance" and "if" when it comes to them signing. Sounds like this deal isn't quite as done as they lead us to believe last night.
