JPT Draw First Round

Crewe will play Chester City at the Deva Stadium on the 4th September in the First Round of the Johnstone Paints Trophy. The draw took place live on Sky Sports Soccer AM this morning.

The draw was split in to North and South then sub-divided in to North West and North East. This format is also applicable for Round 2 of the competition.

In our first season in the competition last year we reached the Northern final which we lost to Doncaster Rovers who went on to lift the trophy at the Millennium Stadium.

This year the final will return to it's spiritual home, Wembley, which host the final on Sunday 30th March 08.
