League One Guide - Tranmere Rovers

A decent league one side are Tranmere. Proved again last year that they can beat the big boys in the league but they struggled to be consistent in a competitive league. Narrowly missed out on a play off last season but will be looking at the play off`s as a realistic aim in the 2007/08 season.

Been a quiet summer on the Wirral, Chris McCready has of course rejoined us whilst they have brought in Danny Coyne to replace Gavin Ward. Youngster Craig Curran is one to watch, after bagging a hatrick on final day of last season he has been rewarded with a new long term deal by the club.

Player`s in - Adnan Ahmed, Antony Kay, Ben Chorley and Danny Coyne

Player`s out - Danny Harrison, Chris McCready, Kevin Ellison, Gavin Ward and Oliver James

2006/07 Head to Head
Tranmere 1-0 Crewe
Crewe 1-1 Tranmere

League Position Last Season - 9th
Player to watch: Chris Curran
Odds 2007/08 - 20/1 (Bet 365)

Crewe Vital Prediction - 9th
