Dario Gradi's absence from yesterday's friendly at Gresty Road can be easily explained. The Technical Director traveled to Chester City to watch their friendly against Brighton & Hove Albion in preparation for next weekend's league opener against Albion.
Brighton won the game in impressive style as they thrashed Chester 4-0.
Despite much skepticism from fans over the recent management change, this further re-enforces Steve Holland's role as the 'boss' of the playing squad.
