Bell Completes Stags Move

Former Crewe midfielder Lee Bell has signed for Mansfield Town today whilst former loanee Stephen Wright is set for a move to Stoke City.

Bell had been on trial at Mansfield for a few weeks before sealing a one year contract today. Bell left Gresty Road in January through mutual consent and signed for Burton Albion, but Albion released Bell at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Stoke City are set to sign former Crewe loanee Stephen Wright on loan. The right back had two spells at Gresty Road in 1999 and 2000 when he was a Liverpool player but signed for Sunderland in 2002 for 1.5million.

The 27-year-old is now set to sign loan deal at the Britannia Stadium to replace outbound Andy Griffin, who signed for Derby County this week.
