Ex-Trialist Joins Horsham

Former Crewe trialist Chamal Fenelon, 23, has joined Horsham after a successful trial with 'The Hornets'. Crewe declared their interest in Fenelon a few weeks ago and he came to the club on trial.

Chamal boasted an impressive record in the Sussex League County Division 3 last season, scoring 27 times in 37 appearances, with 12 assists.

Having also interested Burgess Hill and Eastbourne Borough, Chamal went from Crewe to a trial at Horsham. He has impressed during their pre-season campaign and scored in their 6-1 win over Herne Bay last night, prompting Horsham manager John Maggs to snap him up.
