Closing in on loan deal

Technical Director Dario Gradi has confirmed that once the deals for defenders Lynch and Abbey have been finalised they will look to make a move for a loan striker.

They have been offered a striker on loan which is believed to be from a Championship club. Dario told the official site 'We have been offered a striker on loan from a biggish club. He doesn't quite fit the bill of what we are looking for but we will go out to watch him and see if he is better than what we have here.'

With less than two weeks till the start of the new season time is running out for the club to bolster their attacking options ahead of the big kick off.

Bowditch not in Ipswich's squad tonight. Not sure about Chris Martin, but he sounds fairly close to the Norwich first team this seaosn.

Well Norwich vs West Ham is on Setanta 2 tonight, might have a watch seeing as Deano is playing and see if Chris Martin is there - maybe spot Dario in the crowd.
