'If It's Football, It's Vital'

League One Guide - Leeds United

Been a long old summer at Leeds United. Relegation, Administration, Transfer embargo, they had it all. Major assets in Healey and Blake have left for pastures new and Leeds are still awaiting the go-ahead from the football league to start the new season.

With less than two weeks a decision from the football league should be imminent. They need the FL to give them the 'golden share' which will allow them to compete in League One.

As of yet they have been unable to bring any new players in as a result of the transfer embargo imposed by the FL. They have former Port Vale player Leon Constantine on trial and are likely to offer him deal when they get approval to use the transfer market again.

It will take Leeds time to gel next season, relegation, loss of key players and not being able to use the transfer market may cost them early doors. But expect them to challenge after Christmas and make a late dash for a play off position.

I think you are being very generous with your prediction of 6th.
